Not Everything is Constructive

I know that about 80% of my readers are people who have followed my life for years now. People who know the ins and outs of my life from a young age until I was removed from the spotlight.

I recently spoke to someone who told me that among all other stories of people who fell mine was the worst. I usually don't want to know what people are saying about me but this time I wanted to know why am I considered the worst. I knew this would hurt me deeply but I wanted to know any way.

Hearing about it made me realize that the story of how and why I fell wasn't actually the worst but rather, those who told it were the worst ones. Its amazing how people can say anything to make themselves look better in font of others. Caring less about their own salvation as well as the salvation of the soul they are crucifying.

My defense to him was, believe whatever you want to believe. I was not going to say anything to justify myself. That´s what I´ve been doin
g for the past year anyway. In this God is the one who is to speak for me when He sees fit to do so.

We all have freedom of speech by the law... and yes, it is our right to speak of whatever we feel like venting out. Also, we can do whatever we want.  But while doing it, we always have to remember that:

"I have the right to do anything," you say--but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"--but not everything is constructive." 1 Corinthians 10:23

Orphan

As orphans we tend to ask ourselves questions like:  Why am I still alive? What is the purpose of my life? Each beginning year we want to know where to fro here? and all that is painful because we are being reminded of how aloe we are.

Loneliness is not pretty. It is sharp and pieces straight through the heart. We ca have friends and people whom we live with but the emptiness of not having a parent, never goes away. It´s a pain we try curing our entire lives but it just never goes away.

Well, this is what´s important about us all orphans -  we survived.  We survived the pain, we survived the fact that we are orphans and we are still surviving the loneliness and wanting to talk but can´t because no one understands us like mom or like dad.

With that, we can continue knowing that we are survivors.

Stay blessed!!!

What Did You Do?

And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:33-40

When I first heard this passage preached at church I began to sweat and shiver at the same time visualizing the day when the Lord separates goat from sheep. It was overwhelming thinking about the day. Since then, I worked hard and dedicated my life in being there for others. I gave not just my time to visit the sick and money to provide for the poor but I gave my whole life to save lost souls.

When this journey begins in a person's life, things start happening. A warfare against every force that is against doing good for Christ arises. And the same old law applies to this battle, "It's the survival of the fittest".

Inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven is not easy and the results are richer than our minds can imagine.

In whatever you do, do not be a goat - selfish, careless, proud and only take care of your own ego. Do everything in your power to take care of others and win them for Christ.

In today's world, people don't care about the sick, the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked or even the lonely. Instead, these people are being judged, ridiculed, isolated, humiliated , laughed at and even gossiped. Be different and do the opposite bearing in mind that doing it for them will be as though you were doing it for Christ Himself and that your reward is in heaven.

Do better and stay blessed!

Are you Better?

I have lived to see and experience the following true and very odd facts about humans:
* that those who usually say they are humble are the proud ones
* the ones who say they are good are actually the evil ones
* those who are confessing holiness are the wicked ones
* and more

Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in
themselves that they were righteous,
and
despised
others:
“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other
 a tax
collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I
thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers,
or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’
And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to
heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this
man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who
exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Luke 18: 9-14

It is unfortunate that this is real. God wants us to confront ourselves and deal with our nakedness. That is the only way we can be helped by the Holy Spirit. If we are still considering ourselves better than others, then we have lost all connections with God. What is left in us is deceit and destruction.

Unless we deal with our dispositions, we will find ourselves burning in one flame as the prostitutes, thieves, idolaters
and murderers.

Let us watch and pray.

Stay blessed!!!

Is It Worth It?

So much of what we pursue is fleeting. Once we acquire it, we have to try to preserve it because we know it will soon be gone.

God has promised us that just as he is eternal and will live forever, so also are those who pursue a relationship with Him and are committed to do His will. So let's sit down and look at how we spend our time, our money, and our efforts and ask if what we are pursuing is really something that is worth having.

Then let's ask one more important question: "Even if it is worth having, is it going to last long enough to make a difference?"

Stay Meditating and Blessed...

Starting Afresh with God #3: Who am I?

She had to realize who she was before what she had. She dug really deep and saw that everything she did was actually who she was.

On her death bed, she wants to fix what is broken and make sure that she dies in peace doing what she was called for in this life. "Do you know about Jesus?" She asks the lady on the next bed with passion to see her saved as well.

"I have heard of Him but I really don't believe in him for many given reasons." The lady replied. Things like this breaks the heart of the one who's greatest desire is to save souls. It is not pleasing to see that a soul is lost and has no salvation at all. She started preaching to her the good news about Jesus and the lady believed.

"Lord, it matters not where I am, if what you have called me for is to save souls, I will do it regardless. Please allow me to hold back my words and allow You to be the one who speaks through me. Thank you for this opportunity to save one more soul for you." She prayed to God.

"And we know that in all things works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

No matter where we might be or in which condition, we have to carry out the duties of our calling because we believe and are certain that all things works out for the good of those who love Jesus.

Stay blessed.

Starting Afresh with God #2: Will it be easy?

Once upon a time, the mind was filled with great unselfish acts and selfless thoughts daily. It was not about her or anything else that kept her in the comfort zone. Waking up every morning with one accord in mind: "Lord, how do You want to use me today?" was her daily bread. "Lord, even if you will use me in ways I can't see, my soul will rejoice in knowing that your hand is involved." she said.
Something happened and drastically she was diagnosed with a dreadful disease that she was told she hasn't enough time to live. She had a choice to either curse God and die or make the most of her last days pleasing God. Now every morning wasn't about "how do You want to use me" anymore but she now woke up to great confusion. "Lord, what must I pray for? My healing or should I just give thanks for my life until I die?" It was really hard for her. She thought of who she was when she was still healthy and prayed for God to use her everyday.

She was a very humble soul and all she cared about was others more than herself. She worked for others to have. She planted for others to reap, she cried for others to laugh, she endured pain for others to be happy. She was selfless.

As she lies in her death bed, confused, questions started running in her mind: Why was she so selfless? Was it because she was healthy and felt like she had something to give or was it who she really was?

To be continued...

Stay Blessed!!!
